Definintion of a Dietitian

A 'dietitian' is a specialist in food and nutrition who has a dietitian's license and who is in charge of meal management and nutritional service to prevent diseases and improve health for individuals, groups, and communities. A dietitian researches and develops new nutritional services and their applications for the improvement of health and the cure of diseases. A dietitian also provides professional nutritional service
and advice. The Korean Standard Classification of Occupations classifies dietitians as follows:
Clinical Dietitians, Meal Service Dietitians, Public Health Dietitians, Dietary Consultants, and so on.
